STATEMENT FROM COTTON BAY HOLDINGS LIMITED
Nassau, The Bahamas – Cotton Bay Holdings Limited confirms that it has been notified of a change in the commercial relationship between Greython Building Company, the project’s construction manager and general contractor, and Davies Associates.
This change is the result of a decision between those organizations. Cotton Bay Holdings Limited was not a party to that decision and has acted solely in its role as developer of the Cotton Bay project – a planned Ritz-Carlton Reserve resort and residential community in South Eleuthera being developed in partnership with Marriott International.
The Cotton Bay project will not be impacted by this change and continues to move forward under the same standards of quality, governance, and oversight that have guided it since inception. Construction activity has already begun on site, with Greython continuing in its role as construction manager and general contractor and partnering through a newly established joint venture with another Bahamian service provider to support project delivery.
The project represents an investment estimated over $300 million and is expected to include a 111 room Ritz-Carlton Reserve hotel, 100 private residences, and an 18-hole golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones II, with completion anticipated between 2027 and 2028.
Cotton Bay Holdings Limited remains fully committed to the long-term vision for Cotton Bay: delivering a world-class destination that will create lasting value, employment opportunities, and strengthen the overall tourism product of The Bahamas.
